It is time to grow in Kansas State University Extension, Wildcat District! You can help be part of this process by supporting the Wildcat Extension Education Foundation, which is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to supporting local extension programming efforts.
The Wildcat Extension Education Foundation's mission is to enhance the Wildcat Extension District's efforts to build strong communities through enduring financial support for research-based education and collaboration.
Wildcat District Extension programs have a critical impact on local quality of life, youth development, leadership and healthy lives. The future of local Extension programs depends on local donations. We will help you structure your gift or endowment so that Extension programs are supported for years to come.
Match Day 2025
Match Day is a fundraising campaign to help local nonprofit organizations increase their endowed funds and build sustainability. The Wildcat District Education Foundation is participating in Match Day with three different foundations. On the designated day, community members have the opportunity to build the endowment of local organization funds through contributions. This year money raised at match events will be divided amonst three categories to support Wildcat District 4-H!
30% to instructional equipment for learning opportunities
60% to travel scholarships for judging teams and state record book winners
10% to continuing education, a senior vo-tech scholarship, and volunteer trainings
Your donation will be amplified and transferred to the Wildcat Extension Foundation's 4-H funds! Thank you for your donation(s) that support the hands-on learning of our 4-H youth!

- Paying for national 4-H judging team registrations
- $500 scholarships for state record book winners (6 youth to date)
- Providing equipment to agents, such as forage clippers, carts, fridges, weights for exercise classes, and beehives
- Professional Development opportunities for agents
- Serves as the 501 (c) 3 arm of Wildcat Extension District, allowing our agents to apply for $100,000+ in fiduciary funds that are put to work in our district.
